USAFE Libraries provide access to the Rosetta Stone Online Language Learning Program for our authorized library users. Rosetta Stone offers immersion language training in over 30 languages and is available via the Internet from almost any computer loaded with Shockwave. Demand is high and waiting times vary throughout the year.

POLICIES FOR ACCOUNT USAGE/MANAGEMENT:
- Eligible personnel are those individuals whose unit is attached to USAFE, regardless of the unit's geographical location. This includes: active duty military, DoD civilians, contractors, reservists, and guard members.
- This online resource is funded by HQ USAFE and is made available to you at no additional cost.
- Your use of this program does not guarantee any particular level of language proficiency, and is provided for general education purposes only. This program is not a part of any official DoD language program.
- Although correspondence regarding this program will be sent to your official Air Force e-mail, this does not constitute endorsement of Air Force computers to access the Rosetta Stone website.
- If you should PCS or attend long term training while enrolled in this program, you may continue to use your access code as long as your account remains in an active status.
- Inactive accounts (those not used in 21 calendar days) are subject to deactivation. However, deactivation is a measure we use only to avoid a backlog of applications.
The following personnel are eligible to use Rosetta Stone through other sources:
- Department of the Army Active Duty, Army National Guard, Army Reserves, Department of the Army Civilian employees, and Department of the Army Local National employees are eligible for an account via Army AKO - see https://www.us.army.mil/suite/login/welcome.html
- Department of the Navy eligible users may access NKO - see https://wwa.nko.navy.mil/portal/home/
- Department of Marines eligible users may access Marinenet - see http://www.marine-net.com/
To obtain an account, complete and submit the Application Form below. Your Rosetta Stone account will be established (or reactivated) within 10 work days (if access codes are available). When your account is established, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the Rosetta Stone Company with login information. When access is gained, please explore the site for additional information. Note: This is NOT a government site.
